Art will be displayed throughout the Office and is available via silent auction benefitting the Wetlands Conservancy.
The Wetland's Conservancy develops wetland's in Oregon to bring back threatened species such as the Western Pond Turtle. The impact of pollution and shrinking habitat has impacted this Oregon species.
Oregonian volunteers and the Wetlands Conservancy worked to developed the Nyberg wetlands with great success, where the Western Pond Turtles are thriving. However, more wetlands need work to bring back wetland species.
You don't have to buy art but you can give what you feel comfortable with by donating money from your heart, a little helps a lot!
Come to this fun event, and feel good about doing something to help the environment for small species that need you.
Saturday, March 17th, 10am to 4pm, Abernethy Grange 15745 South Harley Ave, Oregon City. I will be there with buttons, closeout items with lots of variety. Most of the vendors are local with a large assortment of fibers, yarns, fleeces, needles, books, roving, batts, and handmade products. Refreshments are available downstairs homemade cookies, soup, and other goodies. Grab a friend and come check it out. Use your Google maps on your phone, this place is off the beaten path!
Come to the best Fiber Event of the year, located in the Murano Hotel, 1320 Broadway Plaza, Tacoma, WA 98402. This is a 4-day event! The vendor market is adjacent to the hotel. Free to the public! I will be there with other vendors, with a large assortment of buttons, bird ornaments, garden art, shawl pins, pinback pins. Grab a coffee and a friend and get there early for the best pick of handmade items. Girl food available at lunch 11-2 (sandwich wraps, salads, fruit, and other goodies). This is a really fun event, with classes of all kinds and knitting in the lobby! Come by my booth and say Hi.

Thirty-Five awesome artists will be showing their best creations in this space from November 16th to December 23rd with special receptions and fun demos. Columbia Gorge Fiber Festival located in the Dalles Oregon (just past Hood River) in the New and beautiful Fort Dalles Readiness Center 402 East Scenic Drive (google maps are good) it is as the top of the hill with a beautiful view of the river and the town below. Grab a friend and come toFriday "happy hour" 4pm to 7pm (yes there will be wine and food):-) vendor booths open to check out. Saturday the market place opens at 9am to 6pm and Sunday 9am to 2pm. I will be there with the usual buttons, pins, pendants, shawl pins and some garden birds with words and trays for stitch markers, ornaments and other:-) Remember, although Halloween is just around the corner.....Christmas follows ha ha. Gift shopping is a good way to jump in and get stuff done.
Oregon Flock and Fiber Festival is a great time to bring family to a really fun event. Lots of vendor booths indoors and outdoors under canopies. Come see live Fiber Animals, Alpaca's. Angora Rabbits, Sheep, Goats, Llama's you name it you'll probably see it:-) I will be in the main pavilion this year. I will bring my usual buttons, pins, pendants, shawl pins, and garden birds (birds with words) plus ornaments!! Stop by and say hi, I would love to see you. Art Festival starts at 10:00 to 6:00pm Saturday August 12, Sunday 10:00 to 5:00. One of a Kind will be there with Birds with Words garden stakes, ornaments and fun pins. Coupeville is a beautiful waterfront community with old buildings full of charm. Take the ferry and come on over, don't forget to make a ferry reservation! Music, good food awaits you besides my stuff. See you there!

The Wetlands Conservancy
Dave Haslett Stone Sculptor and Jan Rimerman Painter, are partnering to support the creation and restoration of the Western Pond Turtle habitat in TWC's Nyberg Wetlands Preserve in Tualatin.
Beautiful stone sculpture, paintings, and photography artists are donating 25% of all sales to go to the Wetlands Conservancy.
I will be there with turtle magnets and pins, 100 % goes to the Wetlands Conservancy. These little animals need help to keep their nesting areas and basking sites.
